The Drop is a safe and data driven retail tool to test fragrance in store after the global Pandemic.
My responsibilities as design lead within the stretch innovation team at Coty (2018-2021) included: Develop and establish design processes / Nurture design thinking within R&D teams/ Create and execute Innovative design on projects – from Ideation sketching to prototyping.
The drop was an initiative driven by the global pandemic. I was responsible of leading an interdisciplinary team to bring this idea to a pilot as well as design (-to cost).
We implemented the Drop (pilot) across Europe and were able to collect valuable data. Coty is continuing the Drop initiative and is planning to scale up in 2022.
